Truxtun Park Penguins Swim Team is the summer swim team offered by the City of Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department. Practices and home meets are held at Dunn Pool at Truxtun Park. Open to ages 5-18 years, participants will gain confidence in the water, build endurance and strength for other sports, and learn basic and advanced skills in the four competitive strokes and time trial events. The Penguins will compete with the other community teams in the Greater Annapolis Swim League(GASL).

Children ages 5-8 must be able to swim a minimum of half a length of the pool comfortably to qualify for the team. Swimmers 9-18 must be able to swim a minimum of one length of the pool.
