Parent Volunteer Positions

|
|
Volunteering is essential for a successful season. We’ll be looking for volunteers
to fill the positions listed below. Some positions are needed for each meet while others are
only needed at the home meets. Parents will have an opportunity to sign up for the position of their
choice up to the Monday before the meet. On Tuesday before the meet parents not already signed up will
be assigned unfilled positions by the head coordinator.
Please make sure to read the top of the Meets page of this website so that you know where you and your concession items need to be and when.

Please sign up for your favorite volunteering position by emailing Lisa using the Contact page of this website or by signing the paper
list at the pool during practice.
Penguin Café Leads:   Cindy Applegate and Bev Veit
Cindy or Bev will assign items to families to bring the morning of the meet for the Penguin Café. Assignments will be posted on the "Meets" page of this website as soon as possible before the meet. Just click
on the blue bar for the specific meet and the list will drop down. The list will also be available at practice. If you have a question or concern please contact Cindy or Bev by using the Contact page of this website or by
talking to one of them at practice.

Penguin Café – concessions for 6/21, 7/9 & 7/19 swim meets.
|
|
|
|
Starter/Referee— home meets (see dates above).
|
|
|
|
Stroke & Turn Judges— 4 – 6 needed for all meets (preferred to have previous
experience as swimmer or swimming parent, special training provided). The next stroke and turn
clinic is at Harting Farm's pool house but the date is TBD for now.

Ribbon Writers – all meets.

Timers – all meets.
|

|
Software Operator – all meets (must be willing to learn Team Manager/Meet
Manager & be available the whole season).

|
Bull Pen/Lane Organizer – all meets; must have loud voice and vast patience.
|
|
|
|
Kid Finders – all meets (see qualifications above).
|
|
|
|
Meet set-up (home meets).
|
|
|
|
Meet clean-up/breakdown (home meets).
|
|
|
|
Awards Banquet – 7/23 (tentative date).
|
|
|
